Kit Connor plays main character Nick Nelson in Netflix’s Heartstopper series. Based on Alice Oseman’s bestselling graphic novel, Nick is a 16-year-old, rugby playing student who ends up falling in love with Charlie Spring. Kit originally auditioned to play Charlie. He told Radio Times: "I thought, 'There's no chance I'm going to get it,' because physically there's nothing about me that could fit this character, but then luckily there was Nick that I could sort of slot into quite well." Outside of Heartstopper, Kit’s biggest project to date was appearing in the Elton John biopic Rocketman. Kit played the role of ‘Older Reggie’ in the film, the teenage version of a young Elton John.
